Clicking the Download Pattern Button opens the Pattern Options modal, where the following settings can be configured:

All Patterns

Pattern Name

• Assign a title to your design.
• Displayed on the front page of your pattern and included in the exported files.
• Helps identify and organise patterns for future reference and sharing.

Created By

• Specifies the designer or creator of the pattern.
• Displayed on the front page of the generated pattern.
• Provides attribution and reinforces copyright ownership.

Language

• Choose the language for labels and instructions: English, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Nederlands, Español.
• Ensures pattern content is displayed in the preferred language.

Frames (Fold In or Cut Out Only)

Machine Type

• Cricut – Score lines appear as dashed lines, optimised for Cricut machines; smaller file size.
• Other – Score lines appear as solid red lines for non-Cricut machines.
• Ensures patterns are compatible with your cutting equipment.

Books (Excluding Fore Edge Pattern Types)

Pattern Style

• Measurement – Table of precise measurements for manual marking.
• Graphical – Visual guide for aligning the pattern directly with book pages.
• Both – Includes measurement and graphical versions in a ZIP file.

Font Size

• Regular – Standard font size for a compact table.
• Enlarged – Larger text for easier reading.
• Ensures measurement tables are clear and accessible.

Fore Edge Books (Coming Soon)

Cut Style

• Manual – Borders for cutting by hand.
• Cricut – Print Then Cut format with registration marks for Cricut machines.
• Prepares your pattern for the chosen cutting method.

The Pattern Options modal also contains Cancel and Create Pattern buttons at the bottom:

• Cancel – Closes the modal without creating the pattern files.
• Create Pattern – Generates and downloads the pattern according to the selected options.
